POWER GENERATION PROJECT MANAGER/ENGINEER

JOB PROFILE
We are seeking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to manage power
station projects - and particularly gas turbine and CCGT projects -
within our Dublin office.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day running
of projects within the Power Group including technical and
financial management.
Reporting to the Project Director, he or she will be responsible
for:
- Interpreting and delivering Client Briefs;
- Technical Content of projects;
- Identifying and managing project budgets, resources and
programme;
- Client Liaison
Projects will include feasibility studies, outline designs and
detailed mechanical and piping design applications and supervision
of construction for works within the power generation industry. The
role will also include business development activities in these
sectors.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Applicants should be Graduate Engineers with 5+ years experience in
power generation projects, and preferably in gas turbine and CCGT
projects.
Applicants should have a proven track record in project management
and technical management experience. Project management experience
should preferably include budget management, progress control and
resource management. Technical experience should include
preparation of outline designs, specifications and studies in
relation to power station development.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, forward thinking
and innovative team player who is experienced in leading and
working within multi disciplinary design teams.
